2012-2013 Opener a Huge Success

Ann Arbor Civic Theatre's 2012-2013 season is off to a fantastic start! The first show of the season, Homegrown (part of the Studio Series), played before sold out crowds all three nights of its run.

Playwrights Madeline Diehl, Connie Bennett, and Sophia Blumenthal were in the audience to see their original works performed before a receptive crowd. 

Providing accompaniment to the evening's shows was the pop-up band Sexy Monster. A surprise to many in the audience, they were also one of the highlights of the performance. 

A2CT's Studio Shows are a great way for new actors to become a part of the Ann Arbor Civic Theatre family. Auditions for the next play, A Bard By Any Other Name (written by Ann Arbor resident James Ingagiola), will be September 3rd at 7pm and September 4th at 5pm.
